The Mentoring Programme is designed for individuals, freelancers, entrepreneurs, creative practitioners and small businesses eager to advance their practice. To apply, you must be a member of Creative Edinburgh.

Here’s what we look for in your application:

• A brief overview of your creative practice, interests and professional background.
• A clear explanation of why the Mentoring Programme is important to you and how it will benefit your practice or personal and professional growth.
• Specific details on the type of support you seek from a mentor

We provide 5 hours of mentoring across a five month period. During this time, you will set your own professional and personal goals, ask questions and seek advice. It is your responsibility to follow up with your mentor and arrange the next session. As our Creative Edinburgh Mentors generously donate their time, please be punctual and notify them in advance if you need to postpone or cancel a session.

We also host regular meet-ups with fellow mentees and mentors, which are a great way to get involved in the community, network, and access peer support.

The Creative Edinburgh team will support you and your mentor and ensure that you are both happy throughout the process. There will be scheduled meet-ups throughout the programme which allow you and your mentor to connect with a wider network of creatives. This also allows you to meet people with similar interests and provides the doorway to new conversations and opportunities!
